Formation de l'Armée de l'Air Malaysienne

We are pleased to inform you that GMI Aero, in cooperation with its exclusive Representative in Malaysia Hypercoat Enterprises Sdn. Bhd., has recently concluded a composite repair training course for the support of the Airbus A400M Atlas transport aircraft of the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF).

The Transfer of Training (ToT) was performed during five days at the Subang Air Force Base by GMI local trainer Mr Sivabalan Thirunavukkarasu of Hypercoat Enterprises, covering basic composite repair topics and advanced repair techniques that will directly increase RMAF capabilities in the A400M support.

The ToT was part of the overall cooperation between the RMAF and the French Air and Space Force (Armée de l'Air et de l'Espace) within the frame of the A400M project and was performed under the auspices of the French Embassy in Malaysia.

The training certificates award ceremony was chaired by Subang Air Force Base Commander Brigadier General Omar bin Hj Dawami RMAF and was attended by several RMAF, FAF, Embassy of France in Malaysia, GIFAS, GMI-Hypercoat and other distinguished participants.
